Opportunities Industrialization Center of Oklahoma County, Inc. volunteers believe in OIC and the citizens we serve. By donating their time to help our students to reach their goals, they are enhancing the community, meeting new people, and helping others to change their lives.

Get Involved with OIC of Oklahoma County

OIC Board of Directors

The Board of Directors meets every third Monday of each month for one hour to discuss and plan the general direction of the agency. This includes financial planning, fundraising, and networking. Individual must be nominated and approved by the general body

OIC Auxiliary

A social organization dedicated to sponsoring events for the benefit of the OIC mission. OIC is actively seeking volunteers to serve with the Auxiliary.  Individual must be nominated and approved by the general body.

Speaker or Mentor

Professional adults willing to address the OIC student body during special programs or volunteer periodically to serve as adequate role models for the students.

Classroom Aides

Assist with coordination and instruction in the classrooms where there may be a need. May include assisting students with reading, conducting sessions, or providing general one-on-one assistance.

Clerical Aides

Assist in the administrative offices, counseling and classrooms with general clerical duties.

Executive Specialists

OIC often relies on the expertise of Executives and Professionals in various areas of industry, such as Public Relaitons, Marketing, Resource Development, and Organizational Planning.  These are areas that, while vital to progress of a non-profit, often are tremendously underfunded.
